Easter Eggstravaganza!

We had a very eventful Easter holiday season!!  We were very blessed to be able to celebrate over and over!

To start it off we had an egg hunt at Papa Larry and Jannie's house!

Jack found an egg!!

I asked if I could have it and this is the reaction I got...

I had a tough time keeping up with Elijah.  He's just too fast for me!

My beautiful girl!

At one point Jack and Papa were missing.  We found them deep in conversation in the garage.

We took the opportunity of all the cousins being together to have a little birthday celebration for Sadie.  She loved getting to have a cupcake pinata!!

They sure were quick to dive in for the goodies!!!

They were "swimming" in the hot tub and decided to try to take a dip in the pool.  It was SO cold!!

For our second celebration we had a lot of the church kids over for a cookie decorating party and egg hunt.

And, of course, I had a hard time keeping up with Elijah.

I love these girls!

My sweet sweet Jackie!!

Checking out the loot!

The kids' (and Beau's) Easter basket.

We also got to have an egg hunt in Rosebud!!  By this time Jack was a pro!!

Finally came Elijah's school Easter party!  We haven't quite perfected our "selfie".

And they're off!!

They only have a big open field so some genius came up with the idea to number all the eggs.  Each child has to find eggs from 1-12.

"Done!!"

Now to sort them!

I don't know what part he likes more...finding the eggs or sorting them!

He even offered to help his good pal, Koby!

I hope these precious boys are friends forever!

 Happy Easter!  He is risen!!

My little baller!!

My boy really wanted to play soccer this year and I must say he's pretty good!!  I had a great time watching him...even though soccer weather is not known for being too enjoyable.

So proud of my boy and all his hard work!!

I see a lot more soccer in our future!

Party in my PJs!

My girl turned 5!!

She decided on a Purple Pajama Party!

You can't have a pajama party without donuts!!

We had sausage, of course.  Sadie's favorite.

Mini quiches

And fruit and purple ice cream, which I seem to have lost the pics.

The party favors were mini cereals.

Then it was time for games!!  It ended up being a very chilly day, but the kids stayed nice and warm with our relay races.  They started off with a pillow case hop...

Then a pancake toss...

Then they had to pick up all their toys...

and race down the slide.  Because what relay wouldn't be great without a race down the slide!!

and finally, they made their bed!

We had a great time!!

My girl makes me happy every day.

Over the next week Sadie received some cards and her expressions are always priceless!  She was this excited over getting some stickers!

And cash!!
Hahahahaha!!  She is a nut!  I love her.

Sadie's a growing girl!!
Height 4'3"  -  84%
Weight  44lbs  - 78%

My sweetheart

This year I got a very special treat for my birthday.  The Mother/Son Banquet was the night of my birthday.  Elijah was SO excited to take me out on a date for my birthday.

He was ready over an hour early.  So precious.

He was a perfect gentleman!  It was a Luau theme.  We had burgers and ice cream sundaes.  We were entertained by the senior boys. It was one of the coldest days of the year and the building didn't have heat!  We were freezing!  But we had a great night together sitting with Koby and Kristi Fajardo.

This boy stole my heart!
